About the Position Maru Hospitality Group is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and intelligent storyteller to fill our Social Media Specialist position.
The SMS oversees all digital and social media marketing for all Maru Hospitality Group locations, manages multiple marketing assignments, and acts as a facilitator to build brand image and support growth.
The SMS will work alongside the MHG team, restaurant managers, chefs, and other internal teams to create engaging content that will attract guests and retain existing ones.
Responsibilities Social Media Create engaging content to promote restaurants and offerings on multiple platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn Adhere to Maru Brand Voice and Marketing Calendar in all social media postings Photograph, make videos, and utilize existing media library for content Stay up-to-date on trends to recommend posts or campaigns Grow brand audience through social following, influencer marketing, and other channels to increase brand awareness Email Marketing Design and write all email marketing campaigns and track success, adhering to Marketing Calendar Input email subscribers via multiple channels and manage segmentation Digital Marketing Update and manage Maru websites and third party digital platforms for accuracy and brand alignment Oversee CRM and guest communications digitally Manage the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and projects via KPIs and revenue goals Requirements 1
year experience in social media or digital marketing Both right and left brain thinker:
creative with an understanding of how to grow a business Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills Experience with email marketing, especially Mailchimp is a plus Professional camera, multimedia, and video skills is a plus Familiar with food and selling food is a plus Job Type:
